Updates to the Carbon Reduction Commitment Timetable

Enviros has updated the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) briefing note following changes announced by the Government in December 2008.

Changes to the CRC include:

• The consultation on the regulations has been moved back to February 2008
• Registration packs will be sent to all organisations in Summer 2009
• Organisations will have from April 2010 until September 2010 to register their involvement in the scheme
• Organisations contacted will need to respond to the communication to confirm they are covered, or not covered
• Organisations will need to collect energy use data from April 2010 to March 2011.
