Government clarifies rules for Carbon Reduction Commitment

On Thursday 12th March 2009, the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) published a consultation on the Carbon Reduction Commitment Draft Order, which are the regulations that will make the CRC law.  

Stakeholders are invited to comment on the details of the way that the rules have been drafted by Thursday 4 June 2009. 

DECC also published a User Guide, an 84 page document which explains how the scheme will work, in plain English.
