Enviros wins materials resource efficiency contract with WRAP
Enviros has been awarded a contract with WRAP to provide material resource efficiency advice in major construction and regeneration projects. Enviros will advise those managing construction projects on resource efficiency through the reduction of waste and increased use of recycled products in the demolition, construction and refurbishment of buildings.
Enviros will promote the business benefits to clients and provide advice on project briefs and plans to incorporate material efficiency. Enviros will also provide training for project teams to ensure understanding of the principles of material resource efficiency and how these can be practically adopted during the course of the works.
Enviros will be working with Carillion, Debut Services and Manchester City Council on a range of major construction and regeneration projects. Outcomes will be tracked in terms of landfill diversion, carbon, cost and material saving impacts. The project will bring benefits to both those managing construction projects and occupiers of the buildings through cost savings and improved environmental performance.
