About Us
SKM Enviros is a market leading consultancy providing water, environmental, sustainability and health and safety solutions. We are one of the few consultancies able to combine local expertise and knowledge with global reach and experience. In a resource-constrained, low carbon economy, it is our aim to lead debate, influence policy and shape development to achieve outstanding client success.
We have more than 500 consultants in 20 offices across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa and are a member of the CAT Alliance, a global network of environmental consultancy partners. People and Places
SKM Enviros was formed in 2010 when Enviros Consulting joined forces with Sinclair Knight Merz. Enviros Consulting was originally formed from the amalgamation of a number of consultancies with a track record of performance in the environmental field, including Aspinwall, March and Quantisci. Aspinwall, the longest established of our founding consultancies, was set up in 1972 and was the first multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy in the UK.

Sinclair Knight Merz has multi-disciplinary teams working for clients globally from a network of offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand and South America.

Client Project Management
For any project, SKM Enviros will appoint a Project Director and Project Manager. The role of the Project Director is to ensure the client's overall objectives are understood and met. The Project Director and Project Manager will bring together consultants from across the business to best match our skills with the client's need. Our formal project management system is designed and used to ensure we meet our client's expectations and provide those deliverables as agreed with the client at the project outset.
In addition to the Project Director and Project Manager we operate a global network of technical Practice Leaders who ensure we deploy and deliver the very best technical expertise available from across the group and client teams in every location share new innovations and best practice to the benefit of our clients.
Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental and Community Management System
Sinclair Knight Merz takes its commitment to health & safety, quality, environmental and community management very seriously. SKM Enviros is certified to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 at all our UK and Ireland office locations. We are taking an integrated approach to these systems which are central to our internal and client project management processes. Everyone in SKM Enviros receives general awareness training together with specific training on their particular roles and responsibilities.

SKM Enviros is part of the Sinclair Knight Merz group (SKM) which is a global engineering, sciences and project delivery firm with an annual turnover in excess of £500m. SKM was founded over 45 years ago and is an independent, employee owned, values driven firm, employing over 6,000 skilled professionals.

In addition, we are founding members of the CAT Alliance.
